Congratulations to CUFC Academy boy Ollie Young on signing to Emmanuel College in Boston, from late August 2026 for the start of their new Academic Year. Ollie has been awarded the Saints Community Award in recognition of the valuable addition they believe Ollie will be to the Saints Community with a scholarship grant for 4 years of study at Emmanuel College. He will play in the NCAA Division 3, America East Conference.

Joining Christchurch United Academy with the Under 11’s, Ollie has moved through the year groups in the Academy playing as striker and more recently in midfield.
His work ethic on and off the field, as well as his continued commitment to the club and continued development earned a place Captaining the Under 17’s team last year, as well as representing the Club with the team that travelled to Spain to play in the MIC Tournament 2025.

Congratulations Ollie – we are proud to support and watch your journey into College football 💙🐏

Congrats to our academy boys, who won the Canterbury Secondary Schools Futsal Championships with the Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery Football Insitute team, beating St Thomas 5-2 in the grand final! 💙🏆

The lads will head off to nationals in the capital next week! Good luck, boys 🫶
