Information on upcoming NZPFU strike action On Friday 19 August and Friday 26 August, members of the New Zealand Professional Firefighters Union (NZPFU) will be stopping work for one hour, from 11AM to 12PM.

🚨 Every year Fire and Emergency attends over 20,000 false-alarm calls. In some places, more than 50% of callouts are false alarms. 🚨

The most common source of false alarm activations are:
😷 Lack of appropriate ventilation
❌ Alarm faults
👷 Building contractors
