At my reformer teacher training over the weekend this came up in conversation and this quote really struck a chord with me.
“When you say no to someone, you are saying yes to yourself”.
You won’t be able to do everything in this lifetime, and learning to say no holds so much power. Boundaries protect your peace, energy, and wellbeing and people often respect you more for having them.
So just remember that saying no isn’t selfish, it’s self respect 💌

A little introduction from your host of Fay Avenue.
My name is , and I love attending events, trying new workshops, and meeting new people. I’m also passionate about creativity and moving my body, which is exactly why I created this space, for all of us to connect over shared interests ★
Whether that’s through movement or crafting, I believe having something in common makes it easier to form genuine, lasting connections. I also know how challenging it can be to make new friends as adults, and this space is here to make that feel a little easier.
Our next avenue for connection is a dance cardio session hosted by me at Sweaty Betty on Wednesday 8th April at 6pm. This event is free, and there are a few spaces left so message us if you’d like to join.
We also have some other free and ticketed workshops coming up, so keep an eye on our socials 💃🏽
