The show is fast approaching and schedules/entry forms are going up for competitions. The hugely popular pet lamb competition will be running again in the Pavilion on Sunday, and the schedule is now up on the website.

This year the Wairarapa Black and Coloured Sheep Breeders Association is sponsoring cash prizes for the coloured pet lamb class - any lamb that is coloured, spotted, brown, or otherwise not white or blackfaced is eligible for entry so if kids have a little cutie at home, bring them along for a chance to be in to win!

There will be a display of coloured sheep and products in the Pavilion all day on Saturday, where you can come along and chat with breeders about why they love coloured sheep and wool, and see what breeds are available.

There's also a competition for coloured fleeces on Saturday morning - the schedule and entry form are up on the website under the Sheep/Fleece schedule.

It's always a fun day so please join in, or just drop by and say hi!
