Last weekend Hunter competed in the final Luge race for the season and won senior men's. He's in his happy place in Naseby. Unfortunately he was unable to secure sponsorship for this coming season, so he won't be heading to Europe at the end of the year. Thanks for all the support he has received 🙏

Hunter Burke has not been doing so much Luge lately but did compete last weekend in curling.I hear it's getting cold in Naseby so no doubt Hunter will be on the Luge track soon!

Ahead of the past weekend's International Luge Federation World Cup in Altenberg/Germany Hunter Burke - NZ Luge placed 25th out of 30 sleds in the Nations Cup qualifying race. His finish time of 57.531 seconds had him almost 2 seconds out of the top 18 sleds which for the weekend's World Cup race. After 5 World Cups Hunter sits in 35th place overall out of 52 sleds. This week he is in Winterberg/Germany and next week Oberhof/Germany. (Photo - Altenberg)
