Our 9-year-old has been selected to represent New Zealand at the BMX World Championships in Brisbane 🇳🇿🔥
Yep… OUR kid. The same one who still leaves his gear everywhere and thinks snacks are a food group 😅
We are beyond proud that he gets to pull on the silver fern and race against the best in the world. From backyard practice runs to the big stage — what a ride it’s been already!
There’s been dirt, determination, a few epic stack-ups, and a whole lot of “just one more lap!”… and now look at him go 💪
Brisbane better watch out — the little shredder is coming in hot 🚀

Our 9-year-old has officially been crowned Rookie Rider of the Year for his BMX club 🏆🔥

From wobbly starts and “was that a jump or a bump?” moments… to sending it … (and occasionally sending himself into the bushes 😅) — we couldn’t be prouder.
There’s been mud, crashes, big grins, and a LOT of “watch this!” — and somehow he’s come out the other side with a trophy and even bigger confidence 💪
Super proud of the effort, the courage, and the determination (and the fact he still has most of his teeth 😬).
Next stop: world domination… or at least bigger jumps 🚀
