Well thats the south island champs done.
First time dannevirke judo has fought in the south island for more than 20 years.

Ryan Boblea wining in the cadet men grade under 66kg 14 to 17 years.
2 of his fights won in under 11 seconds!!!
Thats a big deal against these older teenagers.

Sammy Boblea placing second in senior girls 11 to 14yr bracket under 57kg.

Jack Smith placing second in the senior boys 11 to 14 year bracket over 66kg
And 3rd in the open in the same age bracket.

Braxton Mason stepping up to the same class as Jack in the senior boys is a big step for him.
Taking in these older boys as an 11 year old but showing no fear and giving it his best shot shows great determination.

And Lisa Boblea wining her fights in the veterans class.
First time lisa has fought in over 20 years, really nice to see her back on the mat after such a long time.

Over all a great weekend with some awsome judo
Looking forward to rotarua in 2 weeks!!!
