Day 3 of the Bodkin weekend at a glorious Wanaka Gun Club. 2 possibles today for Darfield.

Day 2 of Bodkin Weekend. 12 possibles in 31 squads last only, one possible with a payout of more than $900 in round 3. Things changed from yesterday news. They paid out 19s so the 20 score got 50% and rest got shared.
Well done Dave Folley with the only possible all day in our Darfield squad of 13.

Probably worst bodkin performance. Don't be too harsh on us. Well done Dave Folley with only possible in our teams.

First day at Moa Creek Gun Club. Only one of our shooters ended up in a shootoff for 40 possible over last 2 rounds. Steve Gawn. He is busy shooting off at the moment. Individual scores of 13 darfield shooters below. Great day, great weather, great targets.

Results from Continental Cup Day at Darfield Gun Club.
Once again, August was kind to the shooters, with bright sunshine and almost no wind.
Twenty-seven attendees were keen to get on with things, and squads were racing through.
Not a lot of RED on the scoreboard, however, but some good scores throughout the grades.
The light breeze was just enough to cause the occasional variation in the Eye-opener, but with the Continental Cup over events 2 and 3 it wasn’t an issue. Consistent shooting was required, and shoot-offs were needed in A and B grades.
Last of the day was the “must be won” Lucky shooter. As it was Continental Day, that was how it was to be shot. Three tried and failed before number 4 showed how to get it done
Many thanks to all who helped clean up and the ladies who arranged the afternoon tea.
