Teams will be drawn on the day, so it’s the perfect chance to mix, mingle, and enjoy a great afternoon of bowls.Drawn teams on the day.

What an awesome way to wrap up our Twilight season
A huge thank you to all YOU Twilight members who made this season such a blast. The laughs, the competition, the outfits, and the great spirit every Thursday night are what make Twilight bowls so special at the club.

And the Fancy Dress winners The Bowling Nuns You absolutely nailed the theme and had everyone laughing all night!
Finals night had it all great bowls, great company, and plenty of fun. Thanks to everyone who came along, dressed up, and helped make it such a fantastic finish to the season.
We’ll see you all again when Twilight returns in October

But let’s be honest… it wouldn’t be a Forbury final without a dress up.
Theme: “Anything Goes.”
And we really mean anything.
• Got an old costume? Wear it.
• Found something weird in the back of the wardrobe? Perfect.
• Sheet with two holes in it? Boom… ghost 👻
• Random wig ,sunglasses cross dress ? Then You could be anyone famous 🤣🤣

Prizes up for grabs
👑 Best Dressed you get the crown and the glory and a nice bottle
🤣 Funniest Outfit because someone always turns up looking absolutely ridiculous and deserves recognition for second prize

Important warning We’ll also be taking a new group photo for 2026, so whatever you wear could live on our page forever. Choose wisely… or don’t. That’ll probably make it even better. 📸😂

Twilight Bowls is CANCELLED tonight thanks to Dunedin weather.😫
The Forbury green is more water than grass, so the weather wins this round.
