had a real good talk with nigel anjas surgeon and resolved alot of things they will insert the feed tube they ran out of time today we also found out her spleen was the largest he has ever seen a normal spleen is fist size hers was 5 x that!!
shes i good spirits and we finally have a good plan in place things will hopefully be looking up soon!

HELP ANJA BEAT SPHERYSYTOSIS AND BLOOD CLOTS help anja beat a very rare blood disorder

so its a week now and today they will take anja to insert a feeding tube through her nose bypassing her stomach and straight to her intestine so they can feed her ,weve been told the vommiting is part and parcel with the severity of the blood clot and is expected were just not sure why its taken over 10kg of wieght loss and a week to decide to put the tube in to feed her shes still on 3-4 bags of iv fluids a day we still have no real answers to how long this will be for as long is the clot is there she will need tube feeding and we are really hoping its not going to be months .
for me dad yes im extremely angry mum shes taking it a bit better ive found this so draining when your protected your baby for 20yrs and then this happens and your absolutely helpless and have to watch her deteriorate its seriously hard but i guess shes atleast in hospital so for now we wait and hope.

this our daughter and beckhems sister she has a very rare blood disorder that has been with her since birth , she recently had a spleenectomy surgery to remove the spleen and try help her blood so she dosnt have to keep having transfusions and constant medical care,unfortunately this has gone wrong and she has developed severe blood clots in the main artery that feeds blood supply to her liver she is now on high powered blood thinners for quite sometime .she is currently in dunedin hospital and cant eat or drink on bags of fluids daily and is about to have a stomach feeding tube inserted today after loosing 10kg in 14 days!
we are just asking that if possible people please share out her give a little page to get as many people as possiblke to see it all donations go directly to helping cover her medical care our fuel bill as its a 110km trip to hospital everyday for us it will also help us to give her a few bucket list things she would like to do once she is better like atttend a highlanders game go back up north to visit family we havnt seen for 2 years and just to ease the financial burden of the weeks of hospital and medical care this is going to take to get our daughter back to some normal sort of health.

ok so weve been away from the racing for a while but we did a bit of filming and beckhem directing for the The Pits Media last season around the south island and have still followed the speedway were we could anyone that knows beckhem knows we had to pull the pin on racing when he grew way to big for his ministock but there could be things in the pipeline in the future! so for now we will continue to support mates and others in speedway on here for the people following us to promote others the next post i put up is pretty important so please have a read cheers carl& beckhem

Another legend gone our condolences to family one of our favorite race car drivers to watch and a damn good guy RIP MR NORTH.

Today at 12.35pm Paddy completed his final lap surrounded by his family. His short battle with cancer was a hard road & he fought like hell until the end.

Loved and forever missed by Katie, Brad Jazmin & Tahlia

Rest In Peace now my love & give it the jandal with John up in the sky.
