Well done to Charlie, Lachie and Jack for their selection into the Otago u17 team. They are currently playing a two day match against Northern Districts.

Well done to our boys who were involved with the yr 11/12 boys tournament in Invercargill this week.

Highlights.
Jack was the tournament's highest run scorer on 117 runs across the three games.

Lachie was the tournament's 2nd highest run scorer on 106 runs across the three games.

Fred contributed with the bat nicely in one game, scoring 50. Fred was also a standout with the ball, taking a few wickets over the three days.

Big congratulations to old boy Michael Rae (No. 5316, 2007–2013) on taking 3 wickets on his Black Caps Test debut against the West Indies. What a way to start your international career, Michael
Throwback to the 2013 yearbook where Michael was the 2nd highest wicket taker for McGlashan with 29 wickets.

Big win for our Yr10 cricket boys in Oamaru yesterday. We bowled Northern Ward Youth Cricket (a mix of Chch schools) team for 139, then chased down with no wickets lost.
All bowlers chipped in but highlight was Austin who bowled 3 overs for 8 runs and 3 wickets.
Then Harry Barker made 53* and Jack McKenzie 62*. Well done boys!!

Shaan and Charlie had a great 8th wicket partnership last weekend. The partnership was 127 runs with Shaan being 61 not out and Charlie 52 not out. Great effort boys.

Good luck to our boys today. Our 1st XI takes on at bishops court. Amos Miller has his 50th game today also. Good to see Jack O’Connor back into the team as-well.

The 1sts had a good 5 wicket win yesterday. Harry Martin was the top wicket-taker with 3/23. Sam Lawson was the top scorer on 26.

It was Oscar Crowes' 50th game for the firsts yesterday also. Oscar debuted for the first XI way back at the start of 2022 as a year 10. He has scored many runs for the first XI, and he has also scored a century at the Queenstown tournament. These are some remarkable achievements that i'm sure he will be reflecting on as he finishes up his time playing cricket for JMC. Well done, Oscar!!

The JMC Colts put in a strong performance on Saturday.
After batting through their 40 overs, they posted an impressive 270/3.
Harry led the way with a century off 106 balls, supported by Willem’s quickfire 64 off 45.
