Spent a very cold evening on top of Crown Range with TJ last night - Queenstown lights at base

Had a visit from a couple of Kererū yesterday. This one was camera shy, not wanting to hang around to get photographed...

We all are told bumble bees should not be able to fly, yet fly they do. This one seems to have considerable damage to their wings with quite a few pieces missing. Another amazing act of nature
