Over the course of the university semester, we’ve been collaborating with student consultants from Ignite Consultants at the University of Otago. A team of 7 students have been developing a report for us, which includes telling the story of OYWT in a way that is accessible and impactful for key stakeholders. We are immensely proud of their mahi and deeply grateful for their hard work, insight, and dedication.
Last Thursday, we attended their presentation evening, where all the projects were on display, including work with Dunedin Young Professionals, South Street Festival, Alzheimers Otago, 100+ People Who Care, and SquashOtago. It was inspiring to see students bridging the gap between the university and the wider Ōtepoti community. 💚

Last week, a group of rangatahi got creative at our annual holiday art workshop at DPAG! 🎨✨
Led by the amazing Libbi Caskey, kaiako at DPAG, the workshop was all about making art fun and accessible for everyone. Libbi’s clever approach turned each participant into an artist!
Our rangatahi and staff also loved exploring the current exhibitions, including Unutai e! Unutai e! by Kāi Tahu & Anne Noble, with insightful guidance from Libbi.
Big thanks to everyone who joined us. It was a great week full of inspiration and connection! 💛

💚 It’s Mental Health Awareness Week! 💚
This year’s theme - Top Up Together - reminds us to connect with others and bring the Five Ways to Wellbeing into our daily lives.
Today’s focus is on Give - give your time, your words, your presence; tukua te wā ki a koe, ō kupu, ko koe tonu.
Small acts of kindness can strengthen relationships and create a ripple effect. Let’s top up together!
