Snapping posts to get the sound effects for a virtual reality campervan induction programme (overhead hazards).

Rather get a fright in VR than clip a low hanging branch and take the roof off.

No shortage of other scenarios to go into this new tourist driver support programme.

Didn't know this one.

Low transmission / hydraulic fluid in a tractor can lead to brake fade or failure.

20+ years operating tractors and this is new information.

A perfect FAFO scenario to add into the New Zealand Agri VR programme.

The magic words we aim for when building VR programmes for New Zealand Agriculture.

Spoken on the first day of Fieldays this month with the launch of a new programme.

Our second favourite quote of the event... "That's some smart cookie s**t"

Building health and safety programmes that people actually get value from and want to engage with.

It's been a wild ride.

2.5 years ago, we changed our whole approach to virtual reality for vehicles.

Up until 2023, we'd essentially been a driving simulator manufacturer doing leading edge work with schools and learner drivers. Building all our own hardware and software for a local market. Before that, it was complicated off-road systems, robotics, and motorsport.

Then, we realised we could put our ultra-realistic simulation technology into a standalone Meta Quest 3 headset and start building programmes for industries around the world. Especially health and safety systems for companies who need systems that drivers will actually appreciate and enjoy.

Today, Adam Robertson (our lead product manager) is on the way to the US for the second time to work with the powersports and agriculture industry.

Our approach has evolved, but the core purpose hasn't really shifted since all this started 10 years ago with sheep and cattle farming, rally cars, and coaching teenage drivers in a paddock.

Ironically we've gone full circle back into motorsport and farming, along with trucking, learner drivers, tourists, and mining.

Rally hasn't been part of the programme for a few years now, but it's certainly still in our DNA.
