We’re happy to share that our talented Football Development Director, Danil Kornilov, will be taking the lead as Head Coach for our U15 YDL team in the 2025 season! ⚽

Danil shared his commitment to building a positive environment where young players can learn and grow, saying,
"We are as a club want to provide a lot of opportunities for young players and have an established pathway. I am looking forward to working with that team as our main priority is to build the environment where our players can learn and grow. We have a really good group of players in that age group and we are excited to see what the next season will bring to us.”

💰 Investment:
1 session/week: $60 + GST
2 sessions/week: $100 + GST

⚽️ Roslyn Wakari U10 Girls South Island Tournament Update✨

From 4-6 October, our U10 Girls took part in their very first South Island Tournament in Rolleston, led by Coach Nic! 🙌

While they didn’t manage to secure a win this time, the girls had an amazing time, gained valuable experience, and showed great spirit throughout the competition. 💪✨

We are incredibly proud of their effort, and this is just the beginning! Keep up the fantastic work, girls! 🐴🖤🤍⚽️

🌟 11th Grade Colts SI Tournament Update!⚽️

✨The 11th grade Colts made their tournament debut in Nelson last week at the Jack McKnight Festival. It was the first tournament experience for all of the boys, and they acquitted themselves extremely well throughout.

The team finished third in their group, only losing to teams who went on to finish first and third overall, and scoring some great goals along the way.

The boys qualified for the plate section of the competition as one of the best third placed teams, and ultimately finished eighth out of fifteen teams - a really good result.👏😃

All the players, whanau (both travelling and in touch from home) and coaches enjoyed a wonderful team atmosphere throughout the trip.🐴🖤🤍⚽️

🏆 U13 Boys SI Tournament Update✨⚽️

Our team had an incredible performance on home ground! Despite challenging weather conditions, they showcased some fantastic football. Finishing 2nd in the pool, they secured a thrilling 1-0 victory against league winners Christchurch Cashmere Technical!

This win propelled us into the top 8, where we faced Christchurch United. The boys gave it their all and, with a bit of luck, triumphed in a nail-biting penalty shootout, advancing us to the top 4 teams!

Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, leading to the cancellation of the final day of the tournament. But that doesn’t diminish the pride we feel for the boys and their amazing display of skill and teamwork.

What a remarkable achievement, boys! Keep it up! 🙌⚽️ 🐴

🏆 U10 Boys SI Tournament Recap ✨⚽️

🌟 From October 4-6, our U10 boys team (coached by Marcus🙌) had a fantastic time bonding and competing at the South Island tournament in Rolleston. After finishing 3rd in their pool, they had the chance to play for the shield!

Though they fought hard, they finished in 16th place, but it was a valuable experience for them all as it was their first time at this tournament. This was just the beginning, and they’re already gearing up for next season! 💪⚽️🐴
