Big thanks to Adam, Levi, and Nicole from Oamaru Grappling Club - BJJ & Submission Wrestling for dropping by the Otago Fight Centre on Wednesday!
Adam taught a class for our students, sharing the ecological approach they've been using at their gym for the past few months. It was thought-provoking, and a lot of fun to experience it firsthand.
I also had the privilege of promoting Adam to black belt and Levi to brown belt. Congrats to both of you on these incredible milestones! 🖤🤎

Huge night at The Forge Grappling yesterday!
Pleased to have been given the opportunity to promote Taylor Garrett to black belt (my first black belt promotion! 🖤) and old training buddies Conor Middleton, Kyle Scholten and Jacob Vanderhilst (brown belts) and Blake Tomlinson (purple belt).
Also congrats to the new Forge Grappling blue belts! 🎉

Saturday morning 10am gi classes with Benoit are still on at the Otago Fight Centre 107 Fryatt St, for those wanting to supplement their no gi training.

Super happy to award Kasib Murdoch his blue belt last Saturday! The sky's the limit for this guy.

Wednesday:

Friday:
5:30 ~ weekly review of jiu jitsu techniques followed by open mat gi and no gi

Saturday:
10:00 ~ adults gi jiu jitsu

Sunday:
6:00pm ~ adults gi with Scott

Don't forget XFC 48 this Saturday 17 April at the Edgar Centre.
Come and support your teammates fighting - Ben, Mitch and Aaron - plus the card is absolutely stacked with some of the best fighters in the country so if you've never been to one of these shows, this should be the time!
