A huge thank you to our Junior Academy referees who have been part of the programme for Term 1 2026, your commitment to the Academy is amaing.

Thanks to our Academy coordinators Hollie Thomas, Trey McLean, Paige Walker and Bella Mackenzie for your mahi in supporting and mentoring our referees.

Congratulations to the Kensington social mixed grade competitions winners. What a superb night for Touch at the Kensington Oval.

A massive thank you to the Kensington Sports Bar & Tavern for sponsoring the league with Player of the day vouchers for each team each week and vouchers for the 1st and 2nd place winners.

A shout out to 3 super team managers, Geoff Anderson, Dallas Wade and Anthony Keen, who enter teams consistently each season, we appreciate all the mahi it takes to get a team out each week.

A touch game is nothing without the referee's and our Elite players were absolutely amazing for the competition and we appreciate their commitment each week.

What an afternoon of Junior finals touch at the Kensington Oval. We had the wind and the rain and a lot of brave players and whanau who turned up.
A huge thanks to Trey McLean for refereeing both the Girls and Open Elite finals where both went to the wire in dramatic drop off style.

Hi Metro Touch community - It's going to be marginal but we will go ahead with all games. Updated draw will be published soon.

We invite all teams and referees to the Kensington after the finals for a quick prizegiving.

Metro Junior Draw - Thurs 19th March 2026
Please note Thurs 26th March is Finals night, please make sure you give your scores for Elite and Development grades to the Otago Touch staff in the shed.

Kensington Social Touch Draw - Tuesday 17th March.
Due to cancellations we will play one more round robin and then go straight into Finals 1v2, 3v4 etc on the 24th March. Followed by a prize giving at the Kensington Sports Bar & Tavern
