My cup is still overflowing with joy after a weekend workshop with the talented team from 🤍

What started as a chilly, rainy day turned into the perfect excuse to cozy up, slow down, and drop into a shared creative flow. I was so impressed by everyone’s beautiful creations ✨

I made my very first sandy band in recycled 9ct yellow gold --- you'll see it in my highlights! 🎥

This bespoke was for a lovely customer who liked my gold one and ordered her very own in silver, but just a little finer. I love it - the molten, natural form, and the way the curves bend the light. The perfect stacker with curves to fit around any other ring. Ugh, I know I'm biased, but... what a choice!

So... sandy band is most definitely here to stay.
Whilst all rings made in this style will share the one name, no two will ever be the same and THIS I love most.

I've also chosen to name all the finer versions as "brave" and the thicker versions as "bold" --- makes sense in my head, and will likely keep this for all my pieces that are sticking around 😊

The little girl who started it all—my Birdie 🩷🐞

Not long after she was born, I felt what I can only describe as creative gravity pulling me to make things. Sounds a little woo-woo, I know—but it was real.

I’ve always been a creative soul, but this felt different. Urgent. Like something inside me needed out.

Thank goodness the local ceramics classes were always full—otherwise, I might’ve carried on the family tradition and become a fourth-generation potter (still not ruling it out!).

But instead, metalsmithing found me. And I’m so glad it did.

I’ve loved making jewellery for as long as I can remember, and my little girl gave me the nudge to lean into that passion more deeply.

Three years on, and I’m still playing. Still learning. Teaching myself new things, collecting tools, buying workshop time whenever I can afford it (hello, side hustle life 😅).

My partner—now fiancé—is my biggest cheerleader. We’re turning our downstairs basement into a home workshop, and I honestly can’t wait.

There’s something ancient and grounding about making jewellery. It connects me to my roots—to the hands that carved, wove, beaded, and melted metal long before me. I love that. I love the sparkle, the stones, the stories hidden in the earth’s treasures.

Mothers day magic |

My fiancè and daughter took me crystal shopping and this citrine called my name. To me citrine is like bottled sunshine. I've only just learnt that it is referred to as the 'money stone', is said to attract abundance, clarity, and joy. Provides energy and expels negativity.

Feels like the universe approved! ✨️

This one will be unforgettable and had me discover I like re-sizing! (Maybe I should clarify, I like "re-sizing DOWN⬇️" 😅)

I'm unsure if we can put this down to beginners' luck, or if I'm actually talented... either way, we'll take the win🏅- this resize was so crisp and satisfying! I am actually quite proud of myself for this *shy face*... and the polishing! Ugh, it came up so, so silky - thrilled! 🪞🥹 (I picked up a few extra tricks for my polishing & I think I'm really on to something!)

I'm glad I'm seeing improvements with practice, mostly, I'm grateful and full heart happy to have support like this that helps me to continue creating 🫶✨️
