Attention Geocachers:

Once again Snag the Tag is heading down under.

Kiwicachers along with Geoswag and SnagTheTag are bringing another game for folks to play!

While the game is global there is a special treat for folks in New Zealand and Australia, a limited-edition coin with tag.

There are three coins available, the Worldwide hiders edition in gold, the supporters version in antique bronze, and the special limited edition hiders version in antique gold!

This limited-edition coin is only available from KiwiCachers

The game is easy: Wander the oceans until you find an Albatross tag.

Then follow three easy steps:

(1) Log in on snag the tag website and CLAIM the tag. (Share a story of your find for the hider & others to enjoy)
(2) Take the tag to keep as your own, please do not find more than one of each type of tag.
(3) Follow the instructions email on how to get the trackable geocoin to go with your tag.
Pre-sales have started and ends at 6:00 am August 27th, 2024

The game starts: Oct 4th
Dunedin pickup: Oct 27
Hiders have until: Nov 30th
Finder Deadline: Dec 31st
Redemption Deadline: Jan 30th

Redemption rules: Strictly one per household and family member; please do not grab more than one tag. There is no charge for the redemption coin when you enter in your redemption code, but you are responsible for any shipping charges. As a courtesy to other finders, please claim your tag immediately. Instructions for claiming are on the back of the tag.

The Coin must be claimed by the redemption end date on Jan 30th, 2025! No exceptions.

This has been in the pipeline for a number of months now, we knew the feedback on using the old site on a mobile phone wasn't great!

We've gone to a whole new platform and store cart. It looks great!

All the history has been retained but you might have to reset your password as these could not be migrated to the new site.

Please bear with us as we work through the process, we've got a bit of stocktaking to do to make sure the online stock matches the physical stock.

Hi folks, we have had a couple of folks approach us about 20 Year Celebration Event swag and stuff from Shop Geocaching.

Rather than get stock delivered in the expectation that the geocaching community might like it and buy it we are going to do things a little different.
