PBA Weekend:

We had a number of members participating in this weekends PBA events with great success around the board!

Pairs:
Kane Matheson and Jacob Potiki-Tagg had a stunning day out in the pairs. They finished in the semi-finals losing out to a strong pairing of Brent McEwan and Joc O’Connor.

Singles:
We had four participants playing in this with all of the advancing to the Top 16.
New member, Nigel Thompson had a fierce battle with club member Geoff Wilson, with Geoff advancing through.
Cameron McKean narrowly lost to Brightons Sacha Taylor, 2-1 in the tiebreaker.
Jacob Potiki-Tagg had a close encounter with Southlands Kerry Heffer, halting him at the quarter finals for the singles. A very good weekend for the Jacob! Well done.
Geoff Wilson was crowned the winner for the singles, beating Methvens Jeff Nowell in the final in two straight sets. Awesome work, Geoff!!

Overall, awesome to see many club members participating and competing at a high level!
