As we hit the mid-point of Winter, we are now less than 100 days away from the much anticipated Centenary.

Centenary Registrations
As there are literally hundreds of people that have represented the club over the years, we would like your help in reaching as many of our past & present players as possible. Please tag them in this post, invite them to our pages, or send them a quick message or email (including link below) to make sure they are aware of this momentous celebration for our mighty club.

Currently we have 70 odd registered, so momentum is starting to build. Please bear in mind that capacity at both the Rigby Lounge and the Otago Cricket Longroom is around the 180-200 mark. New Zealand Representatives
Both Stephen Boock & Mark Richardson have registered, so a shout out to the likes of Lance Cairns, Bruce Blair, Neil Broom, Jimmy Neesham, Michael Rae, Matthew Fisher and Anaru Kitchen (have we missed anyone), as we would like to acknowledge their achievements at some stage of the weekend.

Live Music on Saturday night
Sidewalk Sally will be entertaining us in the Longroom on Saturday evening. For those that can remember, this was an iconic band that played at the likes of Regines & Sammys during the 80’s & 90’s.

Golf on Friday
While not part of the official events, Jamie Murley is looking to organise a casual game of golf on the Friday. If you are keen to take part, then please contact Jamie directly on 021 571 045.

A statement from the club regarding fellow Swan, Will Hamilton.

While enjoying his summer playing cricket in the UK, Will suffered an incredibly serious head and neck injury as a result of a freak accident while on holiday in Barcelona. Will has since undergone surgery to treat his injuries and is now working through the process of getting back to his residence in Barby, where he can begin his recovery.

While we were relieved to hear that Will received prompt, quality medical treatment, there is still a lengthy and costly recovery ahead for the young man. His club in Barby have subsequently set up a crowdfunding campaign to help ease the stress of the associated medical bills. What a season it's been! Our five teams demonstrated incredible strength and depth, with fantastic performances from individuals that showcased our club's continuous growth.
