Hey Girls, here is an offer from recovery room if you have been injured this season and want to have a program made for you.
Off season is the best time to rehab old injuries. We identify areas to rehab through using force plate analysis using our VALD Force Plates. Find VALD HERE https://valdperformance.com/
We are offering the players that have had injuries to book in with our physio Kate Walker for testing next week. She will go through a series of testing and then develop a rehab plan for the players to do over the off season. The testing will be at the Recovery Room Clinic.
Here link is below to book online with Kate at Recovery Room Clinic.
https://www.recoveryroom.co.nz/our-team/kate-walker/
To make things easier for your members, additional physio rehab sessions with Kate will be at Compound Gym at the Stadium, around the corner from Unipol. This is easy walking distance for the students. All appointments with Kate will be $10 if there is also a current ACC claim associated with the injury.
Use your time wisely, Study hard and in your breaks get your body ready for next year!
Kate Walker » Recovery Room - Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation - Physio Dunedin Originally from Scotland, Kate has obtained her Masters in Physiotherapy, following an undergraduate degree in Sports Therapy in the UK. Kate’s passion is around helping people achieve their goals and to perform at their highest ability.

We’ve partnered with Recovery Room to give our players the best experience possible for rehab of injuries and injury prevention!
Recovery room is offering an Off-Season recovery plan, this includes:
Players who have had an injury this season will receive a comprehensive assessment and development of rehab program to ensure they are hitting next years season 100% recovered.
In addition to standard physiotherapy assessment, we also use force plates to analyse forces produced from jumping. We know that jumping is an important factor in performance in Basketball. Information from the force plates allow us to identify specific areas in the jump that may need to be improved because of injury.
Â
Physiotherapy sessions for University Basketball members will be $10 per appointment. This is a great deal to get the players the best rehab program for the off season.

Members who want to take this opportunity, please email Matt Carrington at [email protected]
