Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Tennis Otago Incorporated will be held as follows:

AGM Details
Date: Thursday 6 August 2026

Business of the AGM

The AGM will consider the following business:
• Confirmation of minutes of the previous AGM
• Receipt of the Annual Report
• Receipt of the Annual Financial Statements and Auditor/Reviewer’s Report
• Election of Elected Board Members - 2 vacant
• Appointment of Auditor or Reviewer
• Approval of membership fees (if applicable)
• Consideration of any motions or constitutional amendments properly submitted
• Any other business permitted under the Constitution
Board Elections

In accordance with the Constitution:
• Notice is given of the following Board vacancies: 2 Elected Positions, 4 Appointed Positions
• The Board Appointments Panel (BAP) has been convened and will manage the nomination and assessment process
• Nominations will be assessed and a list of Suitable Nominees will be circulated with the AGM agenda
• Nominations for the Elected positions, should submit a brief profile and reason for nomination to [email protected] by no later than 7 July
Submission of Business

Members are invited to submit business for consideration at the AGM.

Constitution amendments
• Must be received no later than: 25 June 2026 (42 days prior)
General motions
• Must be received no later than: 7 July 2026 (30 days prior)
All submissions must be sent to: [email protected]
Late submissions will not be accepted.

AGM Agenda and Papers

The full AGM agenda and supporting documentation will be circulated no later than 16 July 2026 (21 days prior)

Delegate Appointment

Voting Member organisations must appoint their delegates
Delegate details must be received no later than 3 August 2026

Business House Winter League

Starts 5th May on Tuesday nights for 16 weeks. 8pm to 9.30pm. Teams of two men and 2 ladies each night.

Games are 42 mins of men's and ladies doubles followed by 42 mins of mixed.

Entries in by Tuesday 28th April. Team fee is $160 for 16 weeks.

We’d like to share a couple of things with you.

Firstly as below, are the proposed Love Tennis 2026 dates. Clubs will receive their Love Tennis invite by the end of this month, this information will be shared with you before it goes to your clubs. As per usual Love Tennis is a three way collaboration, a partnership between clubs, regions, and Tennis NZ, collectively to grow participation and community connections.

Nationwide date – Sunday 13th September 2026, 10am – 2pm
Grass courts/Southern – Sunday 11th October 2026, 10am - 2pm
