Super proud of the HCU kids that took on the challenge of competing at the NZ Cross-Country over the weekend!
We had Georgina Benson, Alena Cooney & Lewis Anglemeyer gaining some valuable experience on the national stage. They did themselves proud in bitterly cold conditions in the U16 & U14 Championship events!

Our younger athletes had the chance to see what it's all about in the non-championship individual events- a good way to compete without the pressure 🙌
Special mention to Josie Taylor for taking the win in the U10 girls 🏃‍♀️

To top it off we had an awesome little HCU relay team enter the U14 relay at the end of the day and place 6th out of 21 teams...not bad for a team made up of a 9,10,11 & 12 year old!
