Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Arohati Yoga Studio

To all the Arohati yogis from far and wide, thank you for your support during 2025.

We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated yoga community, and without your continued support we wouldn’t have our little studio, and the chance to share this wonderful practice.

We hope you have had a great break over the summer and had the chance to get away and spend time with loved ones.

It has been lovely to catch up with some of you at the casual classes over summer, and we are now ready for our normal timetable to resume.

We are going to offer a 10 week term for term 1, Starting 3 February and ending 11 April. A term is normally 8 weeks for $100, so Term 1 will be 10 weeks for $125.

The offerings for Term 1 2025 are as follows:

Monday 530pm Flow with Lesley

Monday 700pm Flow with Lesley

Tuesday 430pm Gentle Flow with Lesley

Tuesday 600pm Yin Yoga with Lesley

Wednesday 900am Flow with Lesley

Friday 900am Flow with Claire

All classes are 90 minutes.

Happy New Year!

Planning a few casual classes in the next few weeks.

There will be space for 14 per class, and it is a first in, first served basis.

Classes are one hour, flow classes, suitable for all with modifications available. Two yin classes as well. All classes $12, cash preferred but okay to pay online.

And that's a wrap on the 2024 yoga year, with our last two classes last night.

Heartfelt thanks to you all for your continued support and dedication to our wee yoga community.

Thank you for all the lovely messages of gratitude, but believe me, it is my absolute pleasure to share the mat with you. This is not a job, it is my passion and nothing gives me more pleasure than sharing yoga with such an amazing group of humans. So, THANK YOU!

Thank you to our gorgeous Claire for coming back and teaching at the studio, everyone has loved having your gentle, peaceful self back.

I hope that you all get time in the coming weeks to slow down, breathe, rest and spend time with people you love, in places you love.

There will be some casual classes over summer and I will be in touch with days and times for that in due course.

I will also email out a 30 minute practice to help you find an easy way to maintain your practice over our break, You can add or take away parts of the practice depending on how much time you have, but remember that the 5 minute breathing at the beginning of practice, and the 5 minute relaxation at the end are the non-negotiables of any practice.

I am super stoked to tell you that Claire is coming back to the studio to teach - she is taking over the Thursday morning class but likely moving it to Friday.

Claire is such a beautiful teacher as many of you have experienced, and this is a wonderful opportunity to experience yoga with another guide.

Welcome back Claire, you have been missed.
