WHO CAN PLAY?
Anyone can register to make themselves available. The Captain of each of the clubs will do an official draft on the 27th of April. It’s a thorough and official process! If you are selected the you are officially in The League.

Each has 1 female team and 1 male team.

IF I PLAYED IN THE LEAGUE LAST TIME WILL I AUTOMATICALLY BE IN THE SAME TEAM?
No guarantee. Your Captain may reselect you or another might snap you up first.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
$90 if selected.

WHEN ARE THE GAMES?
There are 3 games on a Monday and 1 on a Thursday. So you will mostly play on a Monday but the occasional game will be on a Thursday.

ARE THERE TRAININGS?
Not officially but Canterbury Water Polo have lots of training options for term 2. We highly recommend you check out what’s on offer and sign up. https://www.canterburywaterpolo.org.nz/

IM GOING TO MISS THE FIRST COUPLE OF GAMES IS IT WORTH SIGNING UP?
Absolutely! The captains will weigh it up but let us know in advance and will put a note beside your name. If you don’t register you won’t be selected.

DO YOU NEED REFEREES?
Yes please, refs will be paid the standard rate. We will do a call out for refs in the next week.
