Central Football Reaffirms Commitment to Positive Match Environment |
Unfortunately, we find ourselves in a position whereby we believe this reminder about senior football on, and off field behaviour needs to be communicated.
Over recent weeks, we have had a significant increase in incidents of unacceptable on field behaviour across a number of senior competitions in the federation.
Several recent matters have been referred to our Regional Association Disciplinary Committee (RADC) for independent consideration, with many having sanctions significantly exceeding the minimum penalties prescribed within the regulations imposed.
Central Football Chief Executive Officer Darren Mason says the message to participants is a simple one.
"𝘍𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦, 𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘥. Football should be a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, and Central Football will continue to take strong action against those whose behaviour falls short of the standards expected within our game.
