Flyers, make sure you hold your own weight in the load in postion. Keep back straight and upper body over your feet. Keep your eyes up for the WHOLE stunt, from loading to dismount. Not only does this make it easier for your bases it also make for prettier photos ππΈβ€

Who's made a new years resolution yet? What about working on your flexibility to get your scorpion? To do this, you need to be commited and follow a stretch plan EVERYDAY! For best results, stretch after your bath/shower and never do it when your tired. Make sure you stretch both sides, not just your favourite as you can end up with hip problems. Set a goal date for when you want to be able to do it by and get someone to take photos so you can see progress and know your hard work is paying off. Remember, eveyone starts somewhere, just make sure you start π

We've had an unreal response from you guys wanting weekly classes and we are trying our best at making this happen!
We have a few questions so we can make sure we offer what you guys want π
πWould you prefer weekday to Saturdays?
If so, is 5.30-6.30 on a school night, too late for your kids?
π€ΈββοΈWould you be intetested in additional classes such as tumbling classes and strength and flexibility class?
πAnd lastly, would you want to travel and compete in cheerleading competitions?

Sorry we have been MIA lately but I promise we have been busy!
Jaclyn and her family welcomed new son, Parker Thomas Smith in November and Amy has been enjoying Gisborne's sunshine and having her military boyfriend home for the summer.
We have also been busy planning how we can grow Surf City Cheerleading this year. We have been looking for a new venue so we can run weekly classes as well as our holiday clinics. Is this something that you/your kids would be interested in? Any ideas for how best to run these to suit you? Or any changes you think we could make to our clinics? Our Top Athlete Award for The Beach Breakers is McKaela! She tried so hard with every element, encouraged all the othe participants too. Here she is working on her back hand spring which she nailed by the time she went home. Good job McKaela!!
