It's been awhile hasn't it Instagram 😮

So a bit of an update on things.

NZ still under a somewhat lockdown of sorts because of covid19-delta. So I haven't been at the pool much lately. The mahia challenge finishes soon so will try squeeze a few more swims in before then hopefully.

Been getting back to the gym as well, since we came into level 2. I've dug out my old workout programs and I think I have found a good starting point. I did trial it a couple weeks ago (I've been sick this past week, don't worry just a cold, it's not covid thank god 🤣).

So using that program, I shall be training for the Rotorua Marathon 2022. Me and some of the whanau have decided to take part. May 2022 is the date. I feel like this is something I need. A goalpost to work towards if you can call it that. Something to strive towards. Me and my sister will be training for it together which will be good. I compare this to the only other marathon I've run (in 2018 😅) that my aim isn't to come first, mainly just to finish. And to have fun as well, it'll be a good weekend with the family. So bring it on!

But yea training I'll probably start next week as I'm still a bit stuffy this week. But yes exciting things happening. Can't wait to get back in the gym and start seeing the progress and getting back to that guy on the left. LESHGOOOOO! 💪😄

APPRECIATION POST!!

I couldn't believe it when I heard you were leaving. You've been absolutely amazing since I joined the Y family. Introducing me to PH was a life changing experience. And I cannot stress that enough. Hell, we even made it on TV 😅🥳. We've been through so much and yet I struggled to find a decent photo of us 😂😂. You've been the best coach, friend and just overall amazing person. You're going to be sorely missed.

Wish you all the best for your next chapter in the Hawkes Bay. I know you're going to kill it!

Big guardian hug from me to you 🤗.

🥰🥰🥰

Well it's been a while haha.

I no I haven't been posting lately, been spending alot of time on Tiktok 😅🤦‍♂️. (It's really addictive 😆) Same user, so give us a follow over there as well.

But anyway, gyms been good. Food not so much. I've come to the conclusion that I need something to Kickstart the weightloss journey again. So I've decided to start with what I did right at the beginning, a DETOX!

It's a detox I've done before so I no what needs to be done.

It's been a few weeks since I jumped on the scales so I had a rough idea of what the number would be. But yes, this is what I was at when I very first started with PH. Yes its a bit of a downer, but that's life right. Just keep on keeping on.

I'm starting with it today, finishing on Wednesday.

This will give the Kickstart I think I need right now. To prove to myself that I can do it.

But anyway that's it for now.

A massive throwback to when Jase took over ownership of the type r. Glad he got the Vtec working! Makes me miss my vtecs 🙁. Bit hard to own a manual in Auckland tho. Accord will have to do 😂.

Covid19.

If you dont know what it is, where the hell have you been the past week.

I've been holding off posting about it. Mainly because theres not much to say. The media pretty much have it covered.

The situation in NZ now is really scary. I've never been in a lockdown before as I'm sure many New Zealander haven't. We are currently in level 4 of our lockdown. Which means everyone must stay home. You can only go out for groceries and to exercise.

On Wednesday all non essential businesses were closed. Things like supermarkets, petrol stations and hospitals remain open.

For me it's just the uncertainty that's scary. I hate not knowing things. But I mean we just have to take each day as it comes.

The lockdown is meant to last 4 weeks. Whether my work opens before that, I dont know. We just have to wait and see.

My hometown gizzy. Who has their first case of the virus. Please everyone be safe and only go outside if you absolutely have to.

What a hectic few weeks!

Routine is coming into place. Work hours are semi locked in. So now I can start planning my meals/cooking. Which is what I've been doing this afternoon. Brainstorming what days I can cook, what meals to cook and what is going to work with sharing a kitchen/fridge with 3 other people in the house. Its guna take some trial and error. But we'll see how we go. So yes, the food has been pretty bad lately ☹. Onwards and upwards tho!

Once that's sorted, it's back into training! I'm looking forward to starting a new program and really smashing some goals.

In other news, due to the recent covid19 virus circulating. Our Australia trip has been pushed to later this year. Better to be safe than sorry right.

Also a trip home is coming up soon in a few weeks. Looking forward to that. Go catch up with the fam and mates.

Anyways that's it for now.

Keep on keeping on 💪😁.

FIRST WEEK IN AUCKS! 🤪

Time for a massive update!

First week done and dusted. So many things happening all at once.

Work is all go at the moment! Hit the ground running pretty much 😅. Its cool though. Keen to get stuck in! For now, it is a bit of a drive to get to my store, but on the flip side got a company to use. So no worries! Going to be pulling some long hours over the coming weeks. So I don't know how often I'll get to post 😜.

Food has definitely taken a huge hit. I really need to get back on track. I was good for the first few days. But the excitement of having all this yummy food close by did get the better of me 🤭😆

I did say this move was for the future and still believe that. The next few weeks will be a bit bumpy. But I'm confident things will get better. Just gotta keep on keeping on!

Oh and yes. I finally got into my new gym today for the first time since signing up 😅. A bit too flash for me I think haha. But it's good. It's only 5mins from home and has all the equipment I need. Although parking is a bit of a nightmare as you can imagine lol.

Otherwise yea. We are all good.

That's it for now homies.

🙂✌

Missions out to Donerale.

The end of the year is nearly upon us.

Everyones gearing up for Rnv. It would be cool to go again this year. But my mind is looking ahead into 2020 and beyond. Got other things on the cards. First and foremost is to get up to Auckland 😉.

Next few weeks is going to be hectic for sure. Packing, putting things into storage, a trip to Wellington, nieces birthday party. Its guna be full on. It's all for the best tho.

This move is about the future (I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true!) It's about taking that step. Just like I took the step into my fitness journey. It's time to do the same thing for my job!

A busy week ahead next week with all the Rnv peps here. Save that money tho 😅.

That's it for now 😉✌

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

The silly season is well and truely here 😅.

These past few weeks have been hectic. I've had the last few days off work tho. Before we get hammered with all the RnV people in town.

What a year it's been. Another year of ups and downs but such is life right. Around this time of year it's good to reflect on the year that's gone by.

A highlight for me was definitely my ozzy trip. Absolutely loved it over there. To the point where I wanted to move there 🙂. Maybe one day lol. Finally getting to meet the lovely miss in person, and of corse as well. That was such an amazing day. You guys are awesome!! 🥰🥰🥰.

As we look ahead to the end of the year and into 2020. Some very cool things are on the horizon for me. January is going to be a hectic month indeed. Both with social engagements and moving. Yes, you heard right 😉. More on that in January tho.

Lastly I just want to say a big Merry Christmas and safe and happy new year to everyone 😁😁😁❤❤❤.

Enjoy the whanau time and I'll see you guys in the next post 😁✌
