The bowls conference finished today. An outstanding effort from the team at Bowls New Zealand. Informative, to the point and eye opening. I will report on this in full but it will take me a while to digest and process the information put forward. If anyone reads this can anyone let me know how the Bellarby went at Gisborne today? One of our iconic Club tournaments.

What an amazing day at the Bowls New Zealand "The Changing Landscape" conference in Christchurch. I can't wait to share with our Bowling community. Another busy morning tomorrow. Speakers of the very highest quality including Peter Miskimmin (Chief Executive Sport NZ) Dean Murphy (CEO NZ golf) and Kereyn Smith (CEO and Secretary General NZ Olympic Committee)

The first day of the annual Intercentre has come to an end. Honours to Hawkes Bay with 33 points to BGEC 15. Hawkes Bay built on their first round lead with a dominant display in the fours coming out with a 14-2 margin in the second round. Another day tomorrow so BGEC can try and reverse the day one result. Good luck to all. Go the ABs
