South Malvern Miners C.C The South Malvern Miners CC is based at the Glentunnel domain and territory covers the towns of Glentunnel, Whitecliffs, Coalgate, Hororata and Windwhistle

The South Malvern Miners cricket club are a small country club 30mins west of Christchurch in the Canterbury foothills and play at the very pictureresque Glentunnel domain. The Miners are now just a junior club with no senior team and have 4 junior teams which play in the Ellesmere junior section.

🇳🇿 2026 New Zealand Junior World Series Teams Announced 🇿🇦

Following four days of outstanding competition at the 2026 New Zealand Junior Provincial Championships, Indoor Cricket New Zealand is proud to announce the teams selected to represent New Zealand at this year's WICF Junior World Series in Pretoria, South Africa.

Congratulations to our 60 players, together with their coaches, managers and support staff, who have earned the opportunity to wear the Silver Fern on the international stage.

Selection in a New Zealand team is a significant achievement and reflects the dedication, commitment and hard work shown by each player over many years. We also acknowledge the families, clubs and associations whose ongoing support has helped these young athletes reach this milestone.

The touring party represents six associations from across New Zealand and will compete against the world's best junior indoor cricket players in what promises to be an exciting week of international competition.

Congratulations to everyone selected. We wish all of our players and officials every success as they proudly represent New Zealand at the 2026 WICF Junior World Series.

🏏 Property Brokers Girls – A Day We Couldn't Miss!
With four awesome teams involved in the Primary Festival this is an opportunity we simply couldn’t pass up. Each team will play two T20 games on Sunday, with winners playing winners and losers playing losers in the second round.
But let’s be clear — these games aren’t about results.
They’re about growth, learning, and the connections the girls have built throughout the festival. The smiles, the friendships, the confidence… that’s the real win.
