✨ THAT’S A WRAP ON TERM 3! ✨

As we close out an incredible term, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what has been a truly special few months at RSOD! ❤️

Our Inspired By Legends Showcase was the perfect way to finish the term, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single dancer who stepped onto that stage. The passion, dedication, commitment and enthusiasm our students have shown throughout the term has been incredible to watch. From our tiniest dancers to our Social Adults and National Squad, you all brought your own magic to the stage and made us so proud! 🌟

A huge thank you to our amazing guest performers - East Gore School, Kayla Mahon, Erica Byars and Georgia Martin, who joined us for our showcase and supported our studio. We loved having you be part of such a special celebration of dance and community.

We’ll see you back next term as we turn our focus towards DANCE EXAMS! ✨
Keep your eyes peeled for details about our Exam Holiday Programme happening in Week 2 of the holidays, with sessions designed to help dancers prepare for exams, get back into running their routines, and build confidence through technique workshops.

Now it’s time to take a well deserved breather! Have a safe and happy school holiday, enjoy some quality time with your whānau, make memories and soak up that beautiful Southland sun ☀️

And finally, a huge thank you to Frank from Love Wild Photography for capturing these incredible action shots from our showcase. 📸 We absolutely love having these moments to look back on!

Bring on Term 4! 💃🕺✨

🌟Introducing our next Guest Performers… the incredible 18 tamariki from East Gore School’s Rangatira Programme! We’re so excited to welcome these young leaders to the stage at our ‘Inspired By Legends’ Showcase! 🎶

Throughout the year, these tamariki have taken part in East Gore School’s Rangatira leadership programme, extending themselves through tuakana leadership opportunities across their kura. They have led Kapa Haka, supported Tuakana Teina groups, welcomed new whānau through mihi whakatau, advanced their pepeha and developed their skills in poi and patu. ❤️

Most recently, these young rangatira proudly led their whole school at an incredible Murihiku Polyfest performance, showcasing their talent, confidence, mana and passion for kapa haka. 🔥
Alongside East Gore School’s talented rangatira, we also have five passionate students from the school who are dancers from our studio performing in the showcase.

We’re thrilled to have the team from East Gore School joining our showcase and sharing their talents with our community!
Another reason to get your tickets now! 🎟️
You won’t want to miss these incredible young leaders in action! 💚
