Opportunities knocking.

We have had a space open up for a Gorge trip with us this Friday the 19th and one on Monday the 22nd.
We also have a space in a very small group going over the run with Daniel Jones on Monday. This is such a great opportunity to learn from the best [email protected]

Anyone keen on an early morning paddle this Saturday 13th? Jacksons to Taramakau or Blackball to Grey lagoon? Keen to keep up the paddling skills

Awesome work everyone! Fantastic results from the Coasters - for a region with only 0.6% of the population we definitely punch above our weight in these events!
For those looking at next years event, and want to maintain a wee bit of kayaking fitness or just want to keep a paddle in the water, we'll still be doing the odd trip around the place - Taramakau, Grey, Hokitika, and we're looking at a 50km paddle down the Haast in autumn...

Well we're finally here West Coast-to-Coasters and hasn't it been a long time coming! We've persevered through decidedly average winter and spring weather for training, stretched the tolerance of family members, used up annual leave, spent a small fortune, and sacrificed nights out for early starts - all for these next few days...
Your mountain is waiting Coasters - go kick ass!

So, tonight after race briefing we're getting a photo of us all for the Grey Star. Meeting at the scoreboard area of the Westurf Hockey ground at 6.30pm. See you there!

Anyone keen on a long paddle from Jackson's to Kumara tomorrow?

There is a small select group planning a perambulation over Goat Pass tomorrow morning. If you are keen to join our scintillating company then just message us.

This is where you'll find the cool kids on a Thursday at 5.30pm - above the Taramakau Bridge, about to spend 45 minutes attempting to manoeuvre a 5-6m inflexible piece of fibreglass down a large body of sometimes dicey water using a long pole with flared ends. Why would you want to be anywhere else?
