Couple days late, but huge congratulations to all our members who graded on the weekend, and a massive thank you to all the team who came to participate and support.

Just wanted to put a short word for each of our newly belted team mates!
Jake is perhaps one of the longest members currently still with us and is a consistent fixture in our evening classes. He's a true ambassador for the club and culture, always making the effort to greet and get to know the new faces, its people like him that make us a club, not just a gym.
He also got some wicked guard work, and his development of a submission game focused around shoulder crunches/ triangles and armbars cannot be underestimated.
Geoff is another long standing member and is again a great boon for us, absolutely someone i trust to assist knew people coming into the sport as well as a training partner with a superb ability to work cooperatively with people to make sure everyone gets the most out of the drills.
Geoff has the kind of grappling thats just great to spectate, with slick wrestling, great transitions and dynamic passing, a true case study in jiu jitsu flow.
Ben is one of our recent blues, though much of that development came from his time abroad training in Argentina. But even so, its been great to see him take hold of his own development and start exploring those facets of his jiu jitsu that will help him refine his own style.
One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and another of our members that I am proud to have representing our club.
Last but by no means least, Harry has recieved an arguably long overdue Blue. A killer at white belt tournaments, hes always exemplified the results of consistency and work ethic, culminating in his recent submission dominance at his first intermediate competition prior to being awarded his blue.
He's also given alot of time and energy to the club, assisting in teaching the kids class as well as being the unfortunate uke in the regular classes! Genuine privilege to coach!

Well done to all and can't wait for the next!

Huge well done to the kids team who underwent their grading this week, plenty of tags and even some belts getting awarded which is great to see.

We're seeing some real quality grappling skills developing, and are so excited to see their development over the remainder of the year!

Thanks to Cam and Harry too, who've both put in alot of energy into the space!
