This morning I was honoured to be able to join my family and the amazing Becki who is such an inspiration 🤍 Becki is currently battling stage 4 bowel cancer, but yet is doing so with such grace and always the biggest of smiles. If you can support in any way please follow the link below to her givealittle page. Or pop along to pedal with purpose today at Les Mills Hamilton. You’ve got this Becki 🤍 https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/funding-for-beckis-battle-of-the-cancer?fbclid=PAAaaTtIo3hypr-9eYNhKasjgXQROX95LgcZpl5lOtWeEkoJfY8Ec-677X3Gk_aem_AcIgX4pJiSWb8naC6bxBtxyttf4BRHG8UEUvIcCg66kH8Qc9WPC0o0AIfQuT-IchRw4

SWEAT FOR THE HEAD RECAP
As the end of the year approaches, SFTH like many others, has been reflecting on the year that has been. For three years now SFTH has been encouraging others to get out, get active and sweat for their heads/mental health, all while raising awareness and funds for Lifeline Aotearoa 🤍 in three years the SFTH community has raised a total of $55,936 for Lifeline Aotearoa which has gone a long way in helping them support the most vulnerable in our society. I (Christie) would like to take the time to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported SFTH over the past three years- we often see stats about how many people we have lost as a result of mental health challenges, but what we don’t always see is how many lives we have touched/supported and saved 🤍 every single person who has come on this journey and formed part of the community has played their part in supporting others, you are all LEGENDS! As we head into Christmas and the new year enjoy your time with friends, family and loved ones, be present and be kind. The world is a better place with each and every one of you in it - Meri Kirihimete me te Hape Nū Ia 🎅🏼🎄 see you in 2024

SFTH Golf Day 2023
On Friday we hosted our first ever SFTH golf day at Horsham Downs Golf Club. The sun was shining, golf balls were flying and with everyone’s support we were able to raise just under $11,000 for Lifeline Aotearoa. This amount of money goes a loooong way in helping Lifeline provide lifesaving support to the most vulnerable in our society. Thank you to everyone who came to or was a part of our golf day in some way- you are all LEGENDS. I am continually blown away by what the SFTH community is able to achieve 🤍 thank you all!

Throughout the build up to our big fitness event of Sweat for the Head 2023, the half at the IronMaori in Napier, Christie has been blessed to be guided through her training by none other than retired NZ Olympic Triathlete Ryan Sissons 💪🏼
Ryan, thank you for being apart of the Sweat for the Head community, from the first sweaty session you joined for in 2021 through until now! While the training program wasn’t always followed 100% due to the craziness of life, occasional laziness and a few bad days, staring down the barrel of this weekends race definitely isn’t as daunting thanks to your help, guidance and support! You are a legend 💪🏼

With the main SFTH fitness event this weekend in Napier, metservice is starting to become the most googled thing on our phones…Saturday is currently looking like a bit of a rose between two thorns! Fingers crossed it stays this way 🤞🏼
