Our 15 & Under girls and their spoils from the week.
A message below from co-coach Mike Rameka.
🏆 Winners are grinners! 🏆
A huge congratulations to our ND 15 & Under Girls Indoor Cricket team, who claimed the Plate Final with a fantastic win over Canterbury! ❤️🖤💛
The girls showed great determination, resilience, and teamwork throughout the tournament, and it was awesome to see their hard work rewarded.
While it's great to finish with a win, it's also a little sad that such an awesome week has come to an end. One of the biggest highlights has been the friendships and relationships built throughout the tournament. Seeing the girls grow in confidence, support one another, and create memories that will last well beyond the cricket has been incredibly special.
It was a privilege to be part of this group. There is so much talent in this team, and we're excited to keep building, learning, and improving together.
Well done, girls—you should all be incredibly proud! 👏🏏

Day 3 WRAP
Well the round robin is done and all of the ND teams have had a great week to date.
Our 13 & Under boys tournament is over, however they finished in 4th place out of 12 teams! A fantastic result considering most of them had never played indoor cricket 6 weeks ago. They grew at a massive rate and had a blast. Congrats to coaches Mikael and Jared Carter who got the best out of them. Even if they don't smile :)
Our Under 15 Girls qualified straight into the Plate final (4th place), and will play the winner of the plate semi between Canterbury B and Wellington B. Another amazing result from some brand new indoor cricketers. Unlike the boys, these young ladies haven't stopped smiling! Shout out to Duncan Murray, Mike Rameka and Daisy Jack for their hard yards getting this team ready.
Our 15 & Under Boys qualified 3rd, and will take on Wellington Black in the semi final. An outstanding week from Dhruv Narang and McKay Murray who top the grade statistically heading into finals day. Thanks to coach and manager Gus Bishell and Richard Clarke.
17 & Under girls made it into the playoffs in third spot. They will play Canterbury in the semi with the winner taking on Wellington Black in the final. ND are 1-1 against Canterbury this week, so it's all on. Massive work behind the scenes by Nick Shoston and Megan Rawlings.
Our 17 & Under Boys carried on from where they left off last year in the Under 15s grade, unbeaten against some really quality teams. Winning by an average score of 80 runs. They have qualified straight into the finals with a target on their back. CD will take on Wellington for the right to take them on.
Great work by Bob Curran and James Hailwood guiding these young men throughout the week.
Good luck and congratulations to all our players. We're all proud of you.
Lastly, a massive thanks to all the parents and Whanau that have travelled to Wellington or are supporting from home. This wouldn't be possible without you.

Our ND junior squads are having a blast in Wellington, and have all had a successful campaign. They've been out and about around the games with our 13&Under boys lucky enough to take a tour of the Basin Reserve, including viewing the WTC mace!
Roll on finals tomorrow!

Day 2 Wrap - Junior Provincials
Our under 14 boys are through to the second round in the top 4 (out of 12 teams), a fantastic effort to get there, however they now face 3 very impressive opponents to progress to the grand final.
Our Under 16 boys had a great day with two wins, moving safely into third place with a game in hand.
Our under 18 boys remain the team to beat, unbeaten through 4 games with a run differential of +346
Our Under 16 girls who are so inspirational for a group who had mostly never played indoor cricket until 6 weeks ago, had their first victory, and finish the day mid-table.
Our under 18 girls also remain in the thick of it, holding on to 2nd by a couple of points over Canterbury, one game into the second round.
All sides in contention for finals on Thursday.
Don't forget you can watch all of the games live on Courts 1 and 3 on the ICNZ you tube channel.
