Now I have not looked into this that much but I'm guessing there is a base to back it up. But it is true in regards to everything being connected.
How?
Myofascial tissue.
Not only are aspects of the organs connected to parts of the body like limbs but so are our muscles.
Myofascial tissue is around our whole body like our skin. So if you are tight in the neck it may be because your spinal muscles are tight or sore. Same goes for the shoulder. Sore shoulder can equal sore hip or misaligned hip. So make sure you are training all areas and not just a few and when you stretch, warm up or cool down, get everything sorted. Because everything is connected.
