Hi all,

I just thought I would drop a quick reminder email out to all football families who have signed up for this season with some info regarding the Muster.

We will be holding it this weekend - Sunday 2nd of April at 2pm - down at School. It looks like there's a chance of showers so most likely we'll be in the Pavillion, but if the weather holds off we will hold it round on the back field.

You'll have the opportunity to donate boots that have been grown out of, and/or purchase some donated boots for $10 a pair - all proceeds shared between Football, Rugby and Clothe the Kids charity.

Fees can be paid on the day either by cash or EFTPOS. We're keeping the fees as low as possible and the same as last year, so are as follows:

First Kicks (4-6 y/old): $35
Fun Football (7-8 y/old): $45
Mini Football(9-12 y/old): $65

If you have any questions or concerns just come and see me on Sunday, or get in touch at the contacts below.

cheers,
Simon

Hi everyone,

Thanks for registering to play football for Te Kowhai in 2022. It's looking like it'll be another cracking season with a large number of players signing up across all the age groups.

We have booked in the big Muster for this Sunday 10th April down at school from 10am, where we will name the teams, hand out all the gear and collect fees. EFTPOS will be available or you can pay cash. We're aiming to hold this outside, but we can be in the Pavillion if the weather isn't suitable. If this is the case then masks will be required.

Due to the potential for people isolating we have also pencilled in Wednesday after school (13th April) as a backup, just in case we can't go ahead on Sunday.

If you have any queries let us know.
Thanks again everyone, see you Sunday.

Cheers,
Simon and Brent

Hello TK Football families,

It comes around quickly doesn't it! True, we have only just started back at school but I thought I would drop a line just to let you all know planning has started for the season ahead.
I'll also provide some key dates so you can mark them in your calendars.

2022 Registrations
As in previous years we will need to log in to Comet, answer a few questions and register for this season but since you have all registered before it should be relatively straightforward (fingers crossed).
Start thinking about the password you may have used now and if you're anything like me it will probably come to you while mowing the lawns or doing the groceries, though I suspect it's one of the two passwords I use for everything.
The online registrations are yet to be updated so we can't complete them yet, but will be ready to go in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye out in the School Newsletter, on the Socials and via email for more details.

Muster
We've currently pencilled in the weekend of 19/20th of March for the Muster, though that will depend on the obvious restrictions.
There's still a lot of information coming in from WaiBOP Football and Sport NZ around measures that we need to have in place to ensure things run smoothly and safely, but it looks like it will be broadly similar to previous years so we're well set up to pick up where we left off.

Kick off
Teams will be submitted by the beginning of April and the first matches are scheduled for the 7th May (first weekend of term 2)

That's it for now, if you have any questions or concerns let me know.

cheers,
Simon
