SHGC Netball - Hamilton

🏐 Two big weekends for our Senior Premier Reserves!

On Sunday 26 July, the Reserves competed in Hamilton and finished runners-up, going down to Cambridge in the final.

The following Sunday, 2 August, they travelled to Tauranga for the WaiBOP Zone tournament and went unbeaten — winning all 5 games to take out their grade!

A huge effort across both tournaments — the future of SHGC netball is looking bright! 🏆

Safe travels to our Senior Premier Netball team and 1st IV Hockey as they head to New Plymouth for the Mission Cup Te Toa Tournament! 🏐🏑

This year, we're grateful to Sacred Heart Girls' College - New Plymouth for hosting what is truly a special gathering of sister schools. Competing alongside Sacred Heart Lower Hutt, Sacred Heart Napier, and St Joseph's Māori Girls' College Napier, the competition may be fierce, but the bonds of sisterhood run deeper.

A tournament steeped in tradition, the Mission Cup has been contested since the 1950s and the Te Toa Shield since 1982 — and every year it brings together young women who compete with everything they've got, united by shared values and a shared heart.
