I really enjoyed last night's training hope you all learnt something too! Not long now fighters for tournament and supporters. One thought. If you take the position that everything in karate has a fighting application there is a lot to discover and your karate will grow stronger.

Osu WCK Fight Team!!!
You have dedicated many hours, days, weeks and months to your training and now we have TWO more weeks before the 2026 NZ Kyokushin Nationals.
There is only a handful of hard training sessions left before we taper off in preparation for Fight Day.
See you all tonight at Senpai Antons for sparring, then tomorrow I'll see you at 8:00am for Park Run. We will also be having a pad session afterwards. I'll let you know the details of that tonight.
See you soon.

Grading day — done, and dusted!
A huge thank you to Shihan Tahi, Sensei Kev, Sensei Marian, and Senpai Mark. Your intensity, and the unique way each of you challenged the students lifted the day.
To our candidates — congratulations. Today you showed heart, grit, and spirit. As one of Shihan Tahi’s famous sayings goes:
“We already know you can do the technique… but can you do it when the #$%^ hits the fan?”
Today, many of you reached that point — and instead of breaking, you pushed through.
To our supporters — thank you. Your presence turns a grading into an occasion, and your energy fuels the candidates on the floor.
Rest up, team. You earned it. We’ll see you on Tuesday for training and results.

Osu WCK!!
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend, and for the competitors from the Norther Zones Tournament, I hope enjoyed the week long break.
But. . . . We are back into it now!!
NZ Nationals are only 10 weeks away and as discussed I would like to have a grading in this period as well. So there is plenty to train for, plenty of opportunity for setting goals, plenty of time to train towards them and most of all, achieving them.
So, I hope to see you all at training tonight, rearing to go.
See you all there.
