8 days to go, until the next Sniper Fitness 8 week challenge 💪🏽

Monday Mindfulness 🧘🏽‍♀️

The other day I was asked what can impact my decision to train, my response was actually alarming but was my honest answer, in order to be on with my training I need to have my work life up to date, my house in order and my relationship happy. If I feel like one of these things are out then I struggle to focus on me.

The reality is I had let a lot of things come before me and as much as these are important so am I. In fact I should view it like this…if I am feeling good and training is going well, my health is good, then my family and relationship is likely to benefit from a happier me, my work is likely to be more productive because I’m feeling more in control and my home will flow from that with balance.

If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old, change your perspective 👌🏼

Monday Mindfulness 🧘🏽‍♀️

I often speak of the importance of reflection and I must admit I have been resistant to my own because I knew I would have to confront the reality and truth that life has been too much. If you have met me, then you know me. I am very resilient and can conquer many obstacles but had you have checked in with me last week after many weeks of struggling, I could have easily said to you…I just can’t cope.

Life can sometimes become heavy if we do not have balance and the scales can tip so hard if we forget to (or in my case, chose not to) reflect. Reflection allows awareness, awareness highlights need for progression or regression, and this can be achieved through planning.

Just remember when you assess, that if there is a need for regression, regression is progression. I heard a great saying tonight and I will leave this with you…ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE 💜

Seated Single arm cable Row with a superset rhomboid pull. Sitting behind the seat allows full extension and release of the rhomboid and lat creating new connection and contraction in each rep. Holding the seat ensures strict movement and targeted isolation 👌🏼

Reps are non negotiable…exercises are your choice!
3 rounds…
100 reps

Example…100 squats, 100 sit ups, 100 burpees

Plus minimum of 20km by Friday (chip away at this)
