Vege garden is cranking!!!! Berry snacks on the go... delicious!
Trigger warning..... I am talking about 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐭! 👣
𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐭 are an amazing part of our body we often neglect. Yet we spend so much time on them. They are our first point of contact with the ground, where the stability and support of our whole body begins.
I am going to start a little series on feet, once I get a pedicure 🙃, because there will be pics and maybe even video if I get fancy. Expect some ways to treat your feet, to make sure they are working effectively and to see if these can help with issues you may be experiencing further up your body.
YES.... knees, hips, back, even shoulders issues can start from your feet.

Are you happy to just sit and be?
In this busy world where we are going 100 miles an hours, doing 20 things at once and still thinking about what else needs to be done... YOU NEED to seek quiet!
If the thought terrifies you, sorry, but you need it most!
Making time to relax and just sit in quiet helps our bodies to relax and self-regulate.
Start with just a short period, 5 minutes. Then gradually build up to what you feels worls for you. Do it often and consistently.
Just quite.
𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐯 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
Do these words 'exercise' and 'movement' trigger different feelings for you?
Over the years, with life changes, aging and changes in focus, I tend to focus more on movement than exercise.
☆ It is less about the hard stuff and more about moving more.
☆ It is less about doing particular 'exercises' and more about moving with weights.
☆ It is less about smashing it out and more about longevity of an active life.
Moving can still build strength and maintain mobility, which to me is most important as we age!

"𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞" is a buzz work that has been around for a while. The idea being without caring for yourself, how can you care for others and function at your best.
𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 looks different for everyone. What is important is knowing what works for you and doing it! Diary it! Schedule it! Book it! Plan it! It wont just happen by chance.
Ways to find what works for you...
• If you are an active person with a busy mind, you may need something slow, still and relaxing. (As hard and potentially horrible as that sounds to you.)
• If you are always around people in a busy environment, you may need solace and nature.
• If your mind is always telling you the 2 millions things you need to do, that the dog needs walking, the cat needs flea treatment, the kids need to sort their lunch boxes, the tap is dripping, the...(you know who you are!). You may need some gentle, relaxing music in a quite space to relax your mind.
• Or just dance it out to your favourite songs at a volume that your neighbours will think you have gone mad. 😃
You do you... but do it regularly!!
"𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓" and "𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘"..... words we need to stop using when describing things we do.
"I JUST did 7km today."
"I ONLY did 2 minutes in the cold bath."
"I JUST did a 15 minute workout today."
"I ONLY walked around the block."
ALL these sentences work.. without the "𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓" and "𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘". Say them again with, and then without.
Do you feel the difference!? Celebrate all you do as an achievement! Somedays that may be just getting out of bed.
