Congratulations to our 16s - champions of the 7 Elite International tournament in St George, St Utah. A fantastic performance in the final to pip Liverpool, England based academy side 1 nil. Fantastic Boys. Well done !!

Our 16s have arrived in St George to play in the 7 Elite international tournament and started with a bang winning all 3 pool matches to make it to the final. The boys will meet the 7 Elite team based in Liverpool who we incidentally beat in group play. Fantastic tournament with outstanding facilities and with a stunning backdrop. A truely amazing experience for all involved.

And we are off….the Wufa U16s have departed on their USA tour to play in the prestigious Las Vegas Mayors Cup. Good luck boys on your international football experience.

We are proud to announce our U16 team travelling to US to play in the prestigious Las Vegas Mayor's Cup International Tournament & Showcase and for the first time we also play in the 7 Elite Academy International Tournament held in St Geroge, Utah. It's an extra special year this year as we have joined forces with Northern United SC and will be taking the 'Foundation Team' of their Academy. We depart for our 14-day tour on the 4th Feb which will a complete football immersion experience (plus a little sightseeing and shopping) for the boys. We will take on some of the best soccer teams from USA, Canada and Mexico along with visiting teams from Europe and Africa in one of USA’s biggest and best youth tournaments.

First get-together with our touring squad before Xmas. A great hit-out before the boys head off for Christmas break and then they will be back onto in January as we prepare for our Hawaii and Las Vegas tour.

Spotlight on our Coaches - Cole Tinkler

Our dedicated Physio/Trainer has a Wikipedia page enviable by many. With a stellar playing career as a professional in Europe, Australia and Asia alongside appearances with age group NZ teams and at the Olympics with the NZ U23s, ‘Tinks’ has done it all! We are incredibly fortunate to have Tinks on board as a qualified physio who not only provides exceptional performance support but also can provide incredible footballing insights to the players as a 4th set of eyes and can also assist on the training pitch too. Still to hit his prime being only 38, Tinks on occasion still dons his boots and gives the players a run for their money at trainings and also has Tekkers to rival Coach Builty. Cole Tinkler will assist across both teams, and we are delighted to have him onboard for his second tour.
