Batting first, Hamilton Stallions posted a challenging total of 158/5 in their 20 overs. Jithin R was the star for the Stallions, scoring a brilliant 74 off 47 balls, supported by Lenine A (29 off 25). However, the Royals’ bowling attack, led by Chris P (2/14) and Godly T (2/39), restricted the Stallions from running away with the game.

Chasing 159, Malabar Royals put on a superb batting display. Ranjith R led from the front with a stunning 88 off 57 balls, anchoring the chase. Renish J (26 off 17) and Sobin M (13 off 10) provided valuable support to ensure the Royals reached the target with 4 balls to spare.

🔥 Malabar Royals delivered yet another exceptional performance, defeating Glen XI by 5 wickets to advance to the Finals!

Batting first, Glen XI scored 131 in 19.4 overs. Arun A (37 off 36) and Arun G (30 off 26) were the top contributors. Malabar Royals’ bowlers put on a fantastic show, with Anand S (2/19), Renish J (2/20), and Godly T (2/26) leading the charge and keeping the opposition under pressure.

In reply, the Royals chased down the target in 19.3 overs. Ranjith R top-scored with a classy 44 off 35, supported by Anand S (38 off 39) and Renish J (25 off 23). Despite some resistance from Glen XI’s bowlers, the Royals showed composure to clinch the win.

Chasing a modest target, Arun R played a sensational knock, smashing 59 off just 29 balls, ably supported by Arun V (21 off 18). The Royals wrapped up the chase in just 10.5 overs with 8 wickets in hand, sealing their spot in the playoffs in style.

A remarkable performance from Malabar Royals as we secured our first win of the season against Travancore Panthers!

Batting first, the Panthers posted 155/9 in their 20 overs. Shyam Anand S (41 off 22) and Vipul K (29 off 26) were the top contributors for the Panthers. Our bowling unit, led by Binish D (2-24) and supported by Ranjith R (1-20) and Anand S (1-21), put up a disciplined show to keep the target manageable.

Chasing 156, the Royals displayed excellent composure. Anand S stole the show with a match-winning knock of 53 off 45 balls, supported by Renish J (37 off 25) and Arun R (29 off 24). The Royals chased down the target in 19.2 overs, winning by 5 wickets.

Another tough outing for Malabar Royals as we faced a strong Hamilton Stallions side today.

Batting first, the Royals were bowled out for 121 in 20 overs. Ranjith R was the top scorer with 30 off 28 balls, while Harikrishnan P contributed 17 off 18. Despite some resistance, the Stallions’ bowling unit, led by Hanjith M H (3-15) and Jithin R (3-24), restricted us from putting up a competitive total.

In the second innings, our bowlers gave their best effort, with Godly T leading the attack, picking up 3 wickets for 30 runs. However, the Stallions’ batters, especially Nithin J (53 off 42) and Jithin R (40 off 34), ensured a comfortable chase, reaching the target in 15.1 overs with 6 wickets in hand.

Batting first, the Royals posted a solid total of 141/6 in 20 overs. Renish J led from the front with a brilliant 48 off 33 balls, well-supported by Harikrishnan P (31 off 37) and Ranjith R (23 off 17). The team put up a commendable performance against a strong bowling attack, with Taitas C taking 3 wickets for the opposition.

Defending the target, the Royals fought tooth and nail, with Renish J shining with the ball as well (3-29) and Ranjith R (2-24) delivering a stellar performance. Despite their best efforts, the Super Sixers edged past our total, chasing it down in 17.3 overs with just 1 wicket in hand.
