NZ Nutrition Foundation is a professional, non-profit organisation who can & will try to help NZers reach there goals, by choosing the right foods/drinks/vitamins etc. The members believe all NZers have access to accurate information to help them make informed choices about food, as well as the effects food has on your health & wellbeing. They help NZers make these choices by providing them with a balanced view on important issues around food, nutrition & health. One of the strengths lies in the members commitment & support of the Foundations mission & goals.

Exercise NZ (www.exercisenz.org.nz)
Exercise NZ was formerly known as Fitness NZ, this too is a non profit representative organisation, operating under an incorporated society structure. Their mission is to proactively support a sustainable exercise & fitness industry in NZ, by growing participation in structured exercise through advocacy, information & industry standards. Existing NZ members are organisations that exist within the health/fitness/exercise industry. The majority of which are organisations that operate fitness/exercise facilities (such as fitness centres & health clubs). Exercise members are wide & diverse, & include commercial operations (such as Les Mills & Contours), along with hundreds of single site independant operators, non profit organisations (such as YMCA). Exercise NZ has developed substantial resources on issues effecting the exercise industry in NZ, Exercise NZ continues to develop resources where issues effect the industry.

So over a period of two & a half years ago I was 99.8kg's, so I started doing bootcamp & lost the most in our group over 6 weeks, since then I have never looked back & hopefully never will, I am still continuing to lose weight for the health & well being of not only myself but for my family to. I am very lucky to have such a supportive partner & children, if it wasn't for them continuously being there for me I would of fallen of the wagon many a times. This was one of the main reasons why I joined the fitness industry, & why I am studying to be a personal trainer, so I can help other people who were like myself, as I am living proof that anything is possible!!
