Hey team,
A quick recap on the NZ Bridge 2 Bridge Waterski Classic Oct 27-29 2023
Disappointed we didn’t finish the long race after a great first leg to Taupiri. Amazing effort from Logan Kennedy in his first long race.
Congratulations to the team of Little Man for taking out the SMOC class.
Despite a challenging Sunday afternoon, we picked up a 2nd in powerboats (SMOC and F2) and Jordan Smith, Fido Greg Dutton and Amos Ratuki won the 70mph class in a new record time!
Thanks to all our sponsors and supporters who make it possible for us to participate in a sport we love. We couldn’t do it without you all.
Bring on 2024!

Hi all,
The Yamaha Marine New Zealand boat will be one of the boats on the water at the Trans-Tasman challenge this weekend. As usual it will be piloted by our legendary Fido (Greg Dutton).
Amos will be competing for New Zealand in the under 14 category (with Jordan Smith observing).

Hey folks,
We’re less than a week away from the next race weekend in Mangakino!
In the meantime, here’s some ‘real-life’ footage showing the reality of motorsport! After getting the blue flag (signifying the last lap of the race) the boat had a recurrence of the water-pressure issues and went into limp mode.….…and did so a couple more times! Fortunately for the team, we managed to finish and Amos had done enough hard work in the early part of the race to ensure he won the sub-juniors class. Amos has developed some great resilience over recent weeks thanks to some unfortunate stoppages!
Hopefully the Yamaha Marine New Zealand boat is now sorted and we’re all looking forward to Mangakino this weekend!
You need to watch this one to the end!

Hey folks!
After the weather of the past couple of weeks, the team is excited about racing in Mangakino in just under two weeks time. Last time out at Taupo the Yamaha Racing boat had some more overheating issues so ended up being parked up for most of the weekend.
We’re so lucky and grateful to our friends at HMP Racing who enabled us to keep racing in Taupo. Thanks so much Luke, Zoe and Paula! Below is a photo of the star of the weekend - Psychotic Buoy!
We’ll have some footage later this week for you so keep your eyes peeled!
