✨ 2023 SEASON ✨
Another BANGER season 💥 Battling many niggles throughout the season, everyone worked extremely hard to gear up for Nationals. We’re proud of how we have continued to rise to each occasion on and off the field and to trust each other in the process. We thank the teams that we played in scrimmages and at Nationals that challenged us to be better 🙌

This weekend at the Div 1 Nationals, we placed 5th overall and 1st in Spirit. We are beyond proud of each other and of the team as a whole 💕 This family is extremely special and every single person completely bought into the team selflessly.

🍌 Campbell who has been a rock this season but unfortunately got hit by COVID at the last minute 🦠
🍌 Jamie (frickn) Mead for making his first appearance at Natties and owned it as a boss HIGH SCHOOLER🔥
🍌 Anosha, Ella & Giurgiu for being the absolute best support crew and always providing us with the laughs
🍌 Jordan & Rory for coaching the team - being the core of this team’s growth over the past several years
🍌 The Fordes, Alice & Franny for captaining the team and always providing inspirational words
🍌 Jordan, Ru & Cammy for making sure the team is looked after and putting together a good spreadsheet 🤓

Huuuuge shout out to our mad lasses and lads representing the country at the .wu24 U24 World championships in the UK this week! We’re super proud of our rockstars and wish them all the best 🍌 here’s to your game faces now on display on the international stage xx

Better late than never right…After yet another frisbee season being impacted by COVID-19 in 2021, we were ecstatic and a tad nervous coming into this season 😶

This season we continued to push ourselves to work harder 💪 and smarter 🧠, and to stick together as a whanau 🖤

NZ Div 1 Nationals - what a banger of a weekend 💥 Lots of sick grabs, big huckaroos, layouts, hammers, blocks, skybox and even a callahan 🤑 Just watch our game against Credo, that pretty much sums it up 🤪🫠

Though we sadly missed out on semis by 1 point, we are oh so proud of one another 🥰🥹

Shout out to our favourite coaches - Jordan🦆 and Rory🗡️. Thanks for passing on your wisdom and bants.

Tamaki Throwdown highlights 🤩

It’s good to be back with the team 💥 So much hype, bants, cramps and some frisbee too 🫶 Finishing 4th at Tamaki Throwdown. Next stop: Div 1 Nationals 🙌

We started our season eager to get back into frisbee after WAM Nationals was cancelled. Setting goals as a team and putting together a vision for the season kicked things off🔥 Little did we anticipate that we’d soon go into a second lockdown. Fortunately, a relatively quick move back to level 1 meant we were able to train together as a team again🥰

This weekend at Div 1 Mixed Nationals💥 - with all the uncertainty this year, we feel so lucky to have been able to chase plastic in such high intensity games across all 3 days🥏 Every game was hard fought and we played together as a unit, supporting and encouraging each other on and off the field. Despite MANY niggles across the team 😢, persisting through, we survived the weekend and came 9th overall🙌 We are extremely proud of the growth and great plays that each player on the team has shown over the weekend. Additionally, winning SPIRIT, tied equal with Hammertron, was the 🍒 on 🔝.

Big ups to coach Jordan. Putting in the effort and taking the time to plan trainings and having to put up with the team is not always easy😜

A massive thank you to Triumph Physio, especially Dino, for getting us to tip top shape and prepping us to peak performance💪

Shout out to the Forde household that came down to support and feed us. We love you💕
