Naomh Críostóir Golf Day 2026 ⛳️ What a turn out we had! 18 teams, amazing prizes and a welcomed BBQ at the end of the 18 holes for all who participated🏌️‍♂️ We were so blessed with the turnout, sponsorship, support & weather for the day! Thanks to everyone who came and supported our club & ❤️💛🖤 A special thank you to Debbie at Hukanui Golf Club who was so helpful n the run up to & the day of the tournament 🙌

⛳️⛳️Annual Golf Fundraiser Day 2026⛳️⛳️

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Annual Golf Fundraiser Day will be taking place this year on Sunday May 17th 2026 in Hukanui Golf Club.

Enter as a team of 4 or as an individual (and we’ll do our best to team you up with someone on the day) and be in with a chance of winning some great prizes on the day.

We have been running this event for a few years now and each year it’s getting bigger and better - make sure to save the date now!

This is a great opportunity for a day out with our extended NC community, but also to fundraise for the club and Hamilton Land Search & Rescue.

Individuals or local businesses are welcome to sponsor a hole, and those who do this will be entitled to a discounted entry fee as follows:
- $200 hole sponsorship
- ⁠$300 hole sponsorship and team entry combination.

If anyone knows anyone who would like to participate or contribute as a sponsor, please extend the invite to do so to them! All abilities are welcome and we encourage anyone who would like to, to come along - spread the word!

Darkness Into Light 2026 is Pieta’s (The charity for su***de and self-harm prevention in Ireland) biggest fundraiser, the 5km walk will take place at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, 9th of May, 2026.

We will meet at Hayes Common and loop up to Hamilton Gardens and finish with a coffee at Made.

The funds raised through Darkness Into Light supports Pieta’s lifesaving free services to people in your community that have been affected by su***de or self-harm. This inspiring event also symbolises hope, as communities come together to support mental health, su***de and self-harm prevention.

Today Naomh Críostóir says goodbye to two incredible club members ❤️💛🖤
Both players and committee members, Ryan and Róisín will be a huge loss to the club.

Since their arrival over two years ago they have both played a huge part in the running and the growth of this club, both on the field and in the background. This year Ryan has been an amazing Vice President and Róisín has managed the socials like a pro as PRO!
On the field they have not only been incredible footballers but they’ve both gone above and beyond to make their teammates feel welcome. It’s no surprise that they could fill a cabinet with their awards for Player’s Player over the years!

We have been so lucky to have R&R as a part of this club and we thank them for everything they have done for NC.
We wish them all the best for their travels and journey back home ☘️

And that’s a wrap on the 2025/2026 season for Naomh Críostóir!

What a year it’s been - we are so proud of each and every one of our members for making this year a possibility and a success!

Massive thanks to our hard working committee, and to our coaches - it was great to finish the year on such a high with a fun session last night 🏆

Looking forward to our annual awards ceremony happening on Friday April 10th in The Cook - save the date - it promises to be a great evening and we would love to see you all there 🥳

Our next season will kick off again in late July/early August (date tbc) - keep your Wednesdays free from then on, we look forward to seeing you all at the next training already 🖤❤️💛

🏆🏆 What a weekend 🏆🏆

We are so proud of our club after a smashing performance in Wellington this weekend at the New Zealand GAA Championship 2026!

Our men’s teams brought home victory in the Intermediate Division - the highest ranking silverware in the club’s history! 🏆🏆🏆

Our women’s squad did excellently to top the junior group but sadly missed out on a win in the Intermediate Final. Always next year!

NZ Champs Weekend 2026 - Night 1 - S**t Shirt Night

We had a great evening on Saturday night celebrating a very successful day for the club. A clean sweep from all our teams on Saturday, with each team winning all their games meant we had a lot to celebrate!

What a way to do it, with a club dinner and a s**t shirt night 💃🍀
