Did this walk in one hit. You can stay in hut.says 3 hrs to hut then extra hour to top((last bits a killer ) loads of stairs ladders and rock climbing. We smashed it out in one hour 50 min up. On way down we stopped and did the damage walk and waterfall. ( short walks) dam was average. Ended with Hoffmans pools, fresh water lake with cool jump off spots. Lots of camping around the area. All doc so would be cheap.

1360 steps straight up. Amazing view of waikato river Ngarawahia. Glow worms at night.
1 hrs is if you walked straight up no stops then ran down. 2 or 3 hrs if stopping . Though it's only 2 km it is not easy.

Mt TeAroha . Definitely not for the unfit. You need to be fit as all up. . No real gaps. Not sure how long it took. Maybe 3 hrs. But there is private spas. And hot pools at bottom.

Poor nights not a hike but an expensive adventure. Glad I did it loads of fish fun. Lunch average . But if you are doing hikes treat your self. Ps super expensive
