What an incredible start to the season for Maraekakaho Cricket Club! Today, we faced off against Kereru in our first match, and what a game it was!

Winning the toss, we put Kereru in to bat first, and our bowlers wasted no time putting the pressure on with a couple of early wickets. Kereru managed to set a target of 146 runs, but our boys had other plans!

With all the stars aligned, we chased down the target in just 14 overs with an outstanding batting performance.

Huge shoutout to the team for a fantastic effort today!

What an EPIC showdown at the Maraekakaho Cricket Ground on Saturday as we witnessed an extraordinary clash between Maraekakaho Cricket Club and Sherwood! 🏏💥
Sherwood set the stage on fire by posting an impressive 190 runs while batting first. But, congratulations goes to our Maraekakaho lads who showcased immense grit and determination, putting up a commendable 197 in 20 overs! 👊
Huge congratulations to the entire team for a phenomenal effort! 🎉 And a special tip of the hat to Rolley for his outstanding performance, hitting the winning runs with a massive 6!

🏏 The Maraekakaho Cricket pitch is buzzing with action! 🌟 Last weekend, our school team Maraekakaho Knightriders played Central. And our club team faced off against Argyll in an epic showdown. 🤩 Argyll set a formidable target, scoring 143 runs while batting first.
But Mkk were up to the challenge, chasing down the target with 5 overs to spare! 🎉 It was a spectacular display of talent and teamwork.
Congratulations to all the players for their outstanding performance, and a big thank you to everyone who came out to support the teams. Let's keep the momentum going and continue to shine on the cricket pitch tomorrow!
